Travel Experience Counselor II - (240000A6)
Purpose of the Role -
- Provides consultative customer support services to clients via multiple channels.
- Primary Responsibility
- Provides consultative customer support services to clients via multiple channels.
- Creates and completes travel arrangements (car, hotel, air, rail, travel insurance, visas) for moderately complex travel itineraries/BO task.
- Moderately complex ticketing/exchange.
- Acts as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations which provide the best traveler experience in each situation.
- First level - Invoice & Billing related queries.
- GDS queue monitor.
- Bookings of VIP travelers.
- Lease with vendors/suppliers.
- Works under moderate supervision.
- Resolves moderately complex problems with potentially nonstandard and multi-destinations, ticket exchanges, and complex fares.
- Escalates more complex problems to more experienced staff.
- Assignments include both routine and non-routine work.
Qualifications
Qualification - Experience & Education:
- Experience
- 3+ years of experience working in a customer service environment including 2+ years as a travel counselor.
- Languages
- Fluent in English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Good travel industry knowledge - Geographical knowledge, Airline hubs, interline airline agreements & fares.
- Skilled in GDS and other booking tools used by CWT.
