Job Title: Travel Desk Coordinator



Job Summary: The Travel Desk Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating travel arrangements for JLL employees, ensuring efficient and cost-effective business travel while adhering to company policies and procedures.



Location - Chennai



Key Responsibilities:

Provide call logging services and handle queries and concerns

Ensuring end-to-end transport coverage

Provide travel-related information and support to employees

You'll also see to it that each vehicle leaves at the exact appointed time, and that the start time and kilometer readings are constantly logged for documentation.

you'll be in charge of filling our logbooks upon arrival to the client's site but leaving out any excess mileage.

Monitor and report cases of speeding and other incidents to the Transport Helpdesk and communicate with them over the radio when needed.

you'll also make sure that approval is on hand for staff in need of pick up.

You'll ensure that our staff log their boarding and initial pick-up time.

Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures

Negotiate and maintain relationships with travel vendors

Process travel-related expenses and reconciliations

You'll also help maintain a 24/7 transport helpdesk

Assist in developing and updating travel policies

Respond to travel-related emergencies and provide support as needed



Serving as a go-between among teams



Being a part of the JLL family, you'll be constantly collaborating with teams across the board--especially in this role. As the person in charge, you'll be central in supporting the transport team at the client's facility. You'll also be responsible for keeping in touch with our vendor supervisors.



In addition, you'll keep a record of important transport-related phone numbers. Also, part of your scope is to prepare work orders and assign a unique reference number for each transport request.



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

2-3 years of experience in travel coordination or a related field

Strong knowledge of travel industry and booking systems

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Experience with travel management software a plus
