Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Travel Consultant to join our sales team. As a Senior Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert travel advice and tailored solutions to our clients, exceeding sales targets, and contributing to the growth and success of our travel company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and travel expertise to clients via phone, email, and in-person
- Conduct travel consultations to understand clients' needs and preferences, and offer personalized travel recommendations
- Design and book complex itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets, with a focus on high-end and luxury travel sales
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, destinations, and products to maintain expertise and provide informed travel advice
- Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing and operations, to drive sales and business growth
- Mentor and support junior travel consultants to develop their skills and knowledge
•Requirements:•
- 5+ years of experience in the travel industry, with a focus on sales and consulting
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of global destinations, travel products, and services
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in travel industry software and technology, such as GDS systems and CRM platforms
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications, such as ARC, IATA, or ASTA
- Experience with luxury travel and high-end clients
- Knowledge of foreign languages
- Experience with sales and marketing strategies
