Key Responsibilities:
• Travel Advisory Services: Provide travel advice and recommendations to the clients, including information on destinations, visa requirements, health and safety precautions, and travel insurance options.
• Make reservations, issue/re-issue/refund tickets.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of travel bookings, expenses, and itineraries, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on travel industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of travel services.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in hospitality management, tourism, business administration, or related field.
• Proven experience of minimum one year as a travel agent or travel coordinator.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and external vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of travel booking systems, online reservation platforms, and travel-related software applications preferably Amadeus.
• Familiarity with international travel regulations, visa requirements, and travel insurance policies.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends, especially during peak travel seasons.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills would be an advantage.
