We are seeking a passionate and experienced Travel Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the travel industry. As a Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for exploring, evaluating, and documenting various hotels, resorts, and vendors in the designated area. You will play a crucial role in providing valuable insights and recommendations to our clients to ensure they have unforgettable travel experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct Comprehensive Research: Thoroughly research and identify hotels, resorts, and vendors within the designated area. Stay updated on the latest trends, offerings, and developments in the travel industry.
• Visit and Evaluate Properties: Visit hotels, resorts, and vendor locations to assess their quality, amenities, services, and overall suitability for our clients. Take detailed notes and gather relevant information during each visit.
• Capture Visual Content: Capture high-quality photos and videos of the properties, highlighting key features, amenities, and experiences. Ensure that all visual content accurately represents the properties and aligns with our brand standards.
• Create Detailed Reports: Compile comprehensive reports based on your evaluations, including written descriptions, ratings, and recommendations for each property. Present findings to the management team and collaborate on strategic decisions.
• Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hotel and resort staff, vendors, and local tourism authorities. Act as a liaison between our company and the properties/vendors to facilitate partnerships and negotiations.
• Provide Expert Advice: Offer personalized travel recommendations and advice to clients based on their preferences, budget, and travel objectives. Assist clients in selecting the best accommodations and experiences tailored to their needs.
• Stay Organized: Maintain accurate records of property evaluations, client preferences, and other relevant information. Utilize our CRM system and other tools to manage client interactions and bookings efficiently.
• Stay Updated: Stay informed about travel regulations, safety guidelines, and health advisories related to the destinations you cover. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in the travel industry, with a strong background in hotel/resort evaluations or similar roles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate recommendations clearly and persuasively.
• Proficiency in photography and videography, with experience in capturing compelling visual content.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of travel booking platforms, CRM systems, and other relevant software/tools.
• Passion for travel and a genuine desire to help clients create memorable experiences.
• Flexibility to travel frequently within the designated area and occasionally beyond.
• Fluency in additional languages (desirable but not required).
