• Performance Monitoring : Track and evaluate the performance of drivers, addressing any performance issues or violations.
• Compliance Monitoring : Ensure drivers comply with local, state, and federal regulations, such as hours of service (HOS), licenses, and permits.
3. Fleet Management
• Vehicle Maintenance : Ensure that the fleet is well-maintained, coordinating regular inspections and servicing to minimize downtime.

• Accident Investigation : Investigate any accidents or incidents involving company vehicles and drivers and report findings to senior management.
6. Budgeting and Cost Control
• Cost Management : Monitor and control the transportation budget, looking for ways to reduce costs, such as optimizing routes, reducing fuel consumption, or minimizing overtime.
• Invoice Verification : Ensure that all transport-related invoices are accurate and in line with company agreements, processing them for payment.
7. Customer Service
• Customer Communication : Act as a liaison between the transport team and customers, ensuring that delivery schedules are met and addressing any issues or concerns.
• Delivery Quality : Ensure that products are delivered in good condition and that customers are satisfied with the service.
8. Reporting and Analysis
• Data Analysis : Collect and analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement.
