Manage and maintain company vehicles, ensuring they are in proper working condition and compliant with safety regulations.
Develop and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Supervise drivers, assign routes, and ensure adherence to schedules and safety protocols.
Stay up-to-date with transportation laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
Coordinate transportation of goods and materials between various locations, maintaining accurate inventory records.
Monitor transportation expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
Identify potential risks in transportation operations and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of transportation activities with production, logistics, and customer service teams.
Liaise with transportation service providers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate vendor performance.

Skills:

Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in transportation management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
