Job Category Finance and OperationsJob Details Job Summary: The Transport Manager will be responsible for handling and coordinating all employee transportation activities for Salesforce India managed by the Real Estate & Workplace Services team. He/She will be based out of our Center of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad and will ensure all transportation solutions and services will be provided in an efficient and cost effective manner. The position is responsible for the overall transportation program, coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with all transportation and safety regulations while maintaining a high level of service quality for employees and users of this program. The position will report directly to the Director, Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) India. Key Responsibilities: Handle and supervise the company\'s 24x7 transportation operations, including vehicle maintenance, route planning, and scheduling of trips in coordination with the IFM team and transport coordinators. Coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely and efficient transportation services Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards Monitor and control transportation costs, including fuel consumption, maintenance expenses, and other related costs, vendor management and billing to ensure delivery of services on time and within budget Ensure maintenance accurate records of all transportation activities, including driver logs, vehicle maintenance records, and fuel consumption reports Ensure that all drivers and vehicles align with all safety and environmental regulations Implement and manage programs to improve driver safety and performance Ensure adherence of the services as per agreed statement of work between Salesforce and the Vendors Monitor the KPI & SLA of our Transport Services partners and ensure its ground level adherence Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, supervisors and other departments within the organization to ensure program requirement are agreed between all parties Be the SPOC for day to day critical issues from employees Assist and work closely with the REWS Site Leads to develop, monitor and manage all transport related OPEX, CAPEX and expense management initiatives. Participate in all relevant legal and statutory audits as needed Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and service quality for employees Provide regular reports on transportation performance to senior management in the REWS India team Coordinate and partner with internal support functions like Finance, Legal, Physical Security, Procurement, Health & Safety, BU\'s to provide a safe, secured and healthy workplace service for our employees Requirements: Adept with skills of Business Administration, Logistics, CRM and/or related field 8+ years of experience in transportation management, preferably in a corporate environment Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements Experience in managing a fleet of vehicles and coordinating with drivers and vendors Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Prior experience in managing transport for corporates with 2000+ employee count Ability to write reports, develop presentations Strong leadership and management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
