Job Description
Role: (Senior Manager / General Manager)Minimum Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream.Desired Skills / Roles & Responsibilities
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in transport management and transport tools.
- Experience of Routing and landscape of the local areas.
- Should have a good grasp of contracts, policies and procedures related to IT & Software R&D.
- Manage multiple vendors, team members at different levels, manage ops remotely if need arises, train team in hierarchy, encourage and motivate drivers under span of control.
- Manage in house vehicles on statutory and maintenance, safety and compliance management.
- Manage budgets, sustainable initiatives, define and drive SLA for fleet operators, forecast and target occupancy to minimise wastages.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines; ability to prioritize and plan, coordinate, and execute on assignments, peer manage relations with colleagues of other fields.
- Ability to manage emergencies, strategize & provide solutions on the feet.
- Good interpersonal skills - both written and verbal - with a confirmed ability to communicate to all "customers" internally and externally to the business. Knowledge of Local Language a must.
- Operational level competency in MS office tools (Excel mostly).
