A Transport Executive(on call) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising the transportation and logistics activities(on call) of an organisation to ensure the efficient movement of goods and materials. They play a key role in maintaining cost-effective and reliable transportation operations while complying with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Handling day to day operation related to transport (on call).
Vendor management
Handling transport related queries(on call)
Maintain appropriate records of all reports to ensure smooth operations
Planning daily transportation schedules and assigning drivers(on call).
Performing administrative duties such as preparing and maintaining entries
Coordinate with Team, goods receivers and Drivers(on call).
efficiency and compliance of transport operations(on call).
Handle the complete transport operations(on call)
Manage the transport vendors to ensure smooth operations(on call).
Ensure timely arrival and departure of vehicles.(on call)
Requirements :
Knowledge of transportation and safety standards
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to work at irregular hours and on holidays
Ability to coordinate with managers, drivers, and Employees.
Quick decision-making ability
Educational Qualification
10th/12th/graduation or above
Experience required
2 - 5 Years (preferred) fresher can also apply
