Profile: - Freight Broker/TL/Ops ManagerLocation - MohaliJob Timings - 5:30 p.m. (IST) to 2:30 a.m. (IST) - Night ShiftMonday to Friday (5 days working)Salary Range - NegotiableJob Responsibilities- Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline.- Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services.- Providing customers with shipping quotes.- Booking orders with carriers.- Assisting to prepare carriers for loads.- Tracking status of loads.- Collaborating with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs.- Keeping accurate records of relevant activities.- Updating customers on the status of shipments, and assisting with other inquiries.- Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace.- Responsible for troubleshooting any concern related to international freight transportation- Work with existing transportation suppliers on optimal delivery rate and routing- Direct and follow-up with incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure prompt delivery to customers- Responsible for utilizing logistics IT systems or software to optimize procedures- Responsible for planning and tracking the shipment of final products according to customer requirementsQualificationsMinimum GraduateWork Experience - Minimum 1 year experience in Brokerage-Sales with Book of Business (ref:updazz.com)
