Job Description

The Transition Manager - GCC will oversee the process of transitioning projects and programs within the company, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. They will also manage stakeholder relationships to ensure project objectives are met.

• The Transition Manager - GCC, Ahmedabad, will develop transition plans for new services, process migrations, people/role transition and technology implementations.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define transition objectives.
• Ensure alignment with business goals and minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
• Minimize service disruptions during transitions, monitor performance metrics and service levels, and implement fallback plans if needed.
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers during transitions.
• Engage with business leaders and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and foster positive relationships with all parties involved.
• Assess the success of transitions based on achieved of defined KPIs.
• Gather feedback from teams and stakeholders, identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.
• Lead the transition of projects and programs to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communication throughout the transition process.
• Develop and implement efficient transition strategies in line with company objectives.
• Prepare transition plans and schedules, and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to project transitions and propose mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth transition processes.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to upper management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the transition management team.

• 12-15 years of experience with 5 years in a leadership or managerial role in Transition Management function in diversified GCC / GBS / SSC environment / Utilities / Conglomerate.
• Deep subject matter expert in project change and communication management.
• Proven track record of delivering transformational change on multiple large-scale transformation initiatives across functions and businesses in a conglomerate environment.
• Strong understanding of enabling people go through the change process.
• Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
• PM certification is preferred.
• Open to Ahmedabad as a location, as it is a Work From Office
