JOB DESCRIPTION:

A) Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Effectively engage with regional stakeholders in marketing, sales and corporate communications to lead the development and/or translation of marcom assets and regional marketing campaigns, both for new product launches for sustaining horizontal or vertical marcom purposes

2. Content Development (including drafting Scientific articles) and Creative conceptualization

3. PR and Media Relations

4. Internal / External Communications

B) Goals / KRA to be assigned:

1. Develop and promote branding initiatives consistent with corporate business goals and objectives.

2. Work with creative staff and other dept heads to produce marketing collateral in accordance with brand messages.

3. Develop marketing plans with budget requirements, including advertising and PR

4. Collaborate with all departments to identify internal and external customer needs.

5. Monitor, evaluate and report industry conferences and tradeshows and make recommendations based on findings/ opportunities discovered.

6. Develop, manage and produce materials to create a cohesive image and message for print and all offline communication vehicles

7. Ensure that all materials are developed and distributed according to an appropriate timeline.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Graduate / PG in Science / Biochemistry / Microbiology Degree / Diploma in Journalism / Mass Comm will be a plus 4-6yrs

1. Managed marketing communications and national/regional event assets, and interaction with product marketing teams. Lead a team of 3-5 Marcom Specialists

2. Worked closely with CXOs, and PR agencies to maximize brand exposure and ensure media coverage/ads represent brand identity 1. 5 years of direct work experience in a marketing manager capacity, including the handling of corporate communications, original writing and editing and PR.

2. Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management . Highly effective in prioritization, multi-tasking and time management skills to meet deadlines.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4. Working knowledge and past experience in publishing with print and web media.

5. Knowledge of printing procedures and requirements preferred
