About the role Title: Training facilitator Role definition: As a Social Entrepreneurship Educator, you will work with the Education Team to create and teach a program for students of all ages (junior, senior, and super seniors) on social entrepreneurship. You will help students develop their own ideas and coach them using Environmental Social Governance indicators. You will also communicate with teachers before and after the program to provide support and encourage youth leadership. You\'ll be someone who is open to learning and values transformational education. You will communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and share your knowledge and experiences to promote environmental and social justice. You will work closely with the other Facilitators of Learning and the Education Program Manager Responsibilities that we will trust you with 1. Co-develop and deliver Professional Development to school facilitators about discussing sustainable ecosystems and supporting youth entrepreneur leadership. 2. Use a Transformational Learning approach and incorporate the perspectives and experiences of Indigenous people into the program and deliver workshops to the students. 3. Lead the development and execution of a new pilot high school program. 4. Provide pre- and post-program support to teachers (primarily via email, but also via phone and video call). 5. Network, communicate, and collaborate with community partners including schools, school districts, educational networks/groups, Indigenous leaders, and/or other non-profit organizations. 6. Work with our Communications team to suggest and co-produce social media content to engage and inspire youth entrepreneur leadership, especially in the teaching community. 7. Liaise with our Communications teams to identify opportunities to amplify youth leadership and connect youth with broader self-sustainable livelihood campaign moments. Keen interest in the profession of teaching or training
2. Keen interest in working with the population in the middle or bottom end of the socio-economic pyramid; working with youth from various cultural backgrounds and/or marginalized communities may not be proficient in English. 3. Ability and enthusiasm to travel to smaller towns 4. Energetic and self-starter, who can convey optimism and inspire action 5. Great command over English (spoken and written) 6. Fluency in at least two out of these three languages - Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil 7. Ability to follow directions, work independently and as part of a team 8. Ability to take initiative and the lead when the projects demand you to do so 9. Highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks. 10. Intermediate skill set with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and video conference calls (Zoom and Google Meet). Key Qualifications 1. Graduate or Diploma in any discipline 2.
