Job overview: Training Content Creator reports to the Director, Training Development & Design and is part of the Operations Team at Restaurant Brands International. You will lead instructional design for our brands & support training initiatives from concept to launch. This role will create training content using design authoring tools, collaborate with RBI regional operations teams, vendors, and translation partners to shape training deliverables, organize training communications, and assist in establishing training best practices to improve continuously. This role affects training projects with goals of raising restaurant employee engagement, strengthening franchisee operations, and improving guest satisfaction. To be successful in this role, you possess proven strengths and expertise in : Learning & Development: Experience in writing, creating, designing, and launching effective training materials on a large scale using design software. Tech Savviness: Creative and open to learning new design authoring tools. Project Management: Ability to support ongoing projects and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Communication: Effectively, timely, and thoroughly communicate to internal and external teams regarding training needs and initiatives. Responsibilities: Apply learning & development theory/models to leverage, or benchmark best practices/trends, and maintain knowledge of cutting-edge approaches in order to deliver solutions that drive measurable, lasting impact. Demonstrates ability to prioritize, manage several projects weekly, ensuring progress of both short- and long-term goals are reached. Support Training initiatives from concept to launch, including collecting data, working with project teams, creating materials and collecting feedback from stakeholders. Design training and operations material (i.e., e-learning courses, videos, job aids, and presentations) for the internal and external audiences with a tailored approach for each role. Communicate training project initiatives with internal and external teams. Apply analytical focus that tracks, monitors, and improves KPIs related to training & the Guest Experience. Work with cross-functional departments to support training initiatives and design content based on learning objectives to support restaurant Teams. Your skills and experience: Bachelor\'s Degree required, ideally focused on Business, , or a relevant field 2-5 years of experience developing training materials/content Proven track record of Instructional Design with the ability to create training content with the desired result Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: (ex. Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Articulate Storyline 360, and video production /editing software (i.e., Camtasia, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or similar) greatly desired. Must be fluent in English, any additional language is an advantage. Experience in creating training content for Restaurant /Quick Service Restaurant industry is preferred. Familiarity with adult learning methodologies (e.g. ADDIE/SAM) and theories (e.g. transformative/experiential learning) is preferred. Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support cross-functional team. Ability to work cross-functionally between Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Franchisees.
