This is a full time, permanent role working on a hybrid model predominately working from home with management of your own diary and travel to visit learners within your area once a month.
The ideal candidate will have current or previous experience delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships from Level 3 to 5, however, our client are champions of developing their team through CPD training and are providing unqualified residential childcare workers an opportunity to build a career in the educational space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of learners to tailor support and guidance effectively
- Provide learners with knowledge of the residential childcare sector to enable them to gain skills and flourish in their apprenticeship
- Nurturing and supporting a caseload of 40 learners, ensuring they are on track to succeed at EPA
- Strategically planning teaching and learning activities while ensuring a robust assessment process
- Guiding learners in the development of crucial skills, including Mathematics and English proficiency
- Regularly reviewing learner progress and adapting coaching strategies as needed
- Offering valuable information, advice, and guidance to foster holistic development
- Efficiently managing E-Portfolios for all learners
Experience and Qualifications:
- Hold an assessors qualification such as CAVA, TAQA, A1 or equivalent (desired)
- Hold a teaching qualification such as PTLLS, AET, Cert Ed or equivalent (desired)
- Occupational competence working in a residential care home for children
- Hold a qualification in Residential Childcare up to level 5
- Willingness to undertake any relevant training or qualifications to stay at the forefront of the field
- UK drivers license with access to own vehicle
