Role: Trainer and Program Coordinator

About OBLF: One Billion Literates Foundation (OBLF) is a Non-Governmental Organization operating in the areas of Education, Primary Health Care, and Community Rehabilitation in Anekal District, Bangalore.
About the Vacancy: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the Trainer and Coordinator for our English for Specific Purposes (ESP) project. This role involves training individuals in English and work skills and coordinating the program.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Recruitment/Selection Process: Coordinate with Community Campaign Coordinators (CCC) to Source Candidates. Collaborate with the recruitment team to organize and streamline the recruitment process.
• Schedule Interviews: Arrange interview schedules for shortlisted candidates, ensuring that interviewers and candidates are informed of the details.
• Schedule and facilitate the Trainings:
• Plan and organize training sessions, ensuring all logistical details such as venue, time, and necessary materials are arranged.
• Communicate training schedules to candidates and trainers in a timely manner.
• Create session plans using existing content.
• Facilitate engaging training sessions for participants.
• Provide support to participants during and after training sessions.
• Facilitate the use of the LMS and learning apps of OBLF's partners with students.
• Project Management, Coordination and Performance Tracking
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to gather updates and share relevant information.
• Address/escalate any concerns or queries from stakeholders promptly.
• Performance Management: Monitor and record the performance and attendance of candidates during training and subsequent phases.
• Identify and address any performance issues in collaboration with trainers and mentors.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and candidate performance.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to management detailing the progress of recruitment, training, and performance tracking.
• Provide Recruitment and Follow-up Support to Students
• Offer ongoing support to students post-training to address any issues or concerns.
• Ensure students have access to necessary resources and guidance as they transition to their roles.
• Collect and document student testimonials.
• Track the recruitment status of students, ensuring they are progressing as expected.
• Conduct monthly follow-ups with students to track their progress and document their development and any issues faced during the first year.

Must-have:

• 3-5 years of experience in teaching or training and program management.
• Fluency in English and Kannada.
• Willingness to travel to Anekal or nearby areas.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.
• Ability to work in a dynamic organization with fast-changing needs.
• Flexibility to work on Saturdays and Sundays based on the needs of the trainees.

Desirable:

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Education, Management, etc.).
• Prior experience as a trainer for Employability Skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?40,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Training & development: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
