Job Title: Trainee Ship Broker

Location: Gurgaon (Sector 63)

Salary: ?15,000 - ?30,000 per month

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic female candidate to join our team as a Trainee Ship Broker. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and a keen interest in the shipping industry. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Communication:

- Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

- Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships.

2. Market Research:

- Conduct research on shipping markets, trends, and potential business opportunities.

- Analyze market data to provide insights and support decision-making.

3. Support Brokerage Activities:

- Assist senior brokers with day-to-day brokerage activities.

- Prepare and manage necessary documentation and contracts.

4. Negotiation:

- Participate in negotiations between clients and ship owners or charterers.

- Ensure all parties are satisfied with the terms and conditions of agreements.

5. Administrative Tasks:

- Maintain accurate records of transactions and client interactions.

- Assist with general office duties as required.

6. Learning and Development:

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

- Demonstrate eagerness and readiness to learn new things.

Requirements:

- Female candidate with excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ready and eager to learn new things.

- Prior experience or education in maritime, shipping, or logistics is a plus but not required.
