About the role

Your Impact as Trainee Internal Audit

I. Purpose of the Job:

The purpose is to train the CA student for 9-12 months in duration
II. Role Description: Activities related to Internal Audit:

• Assist in planning and executing internal audit engagements under the guidance of senior Internal auditors.
• Perform testing of controls and review of financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and documentation of audit findings.
• Assist in development and implementation of data analytics tools and related methodology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for follow-up of audit recommendations and process improvements.
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as required by the Internal Audit team.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to internal audit and financial reporting.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Trainee/Article Assistant should have cleared both groups of CA intermediate/IPCC examination.
• Completed minimum of 18 months of practical training.
• Prior training in Internal Audit from Big 6/reputed domestic firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hand-on experience in Power BI will give added advantage to selection of candidate.
