The Trainee Mechanical Engineer plays a crucial role in conducting independent inspections, assessments, and evaluations on behalf of clients to verify compliance, quality, and adherence to standards. We partner with clients to deliver comprehensive inspection solutions that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Role And Responsibility
1. Conducting Inspections:
• Perform routine inspections of equipment, facilities, and processes according to established standards, procedures, and regulations.
• Identify and document any deviations, defects, or non-conformities observed during inspections.
• Utilize various inspection techniques, tools, and equipment to assess the condition and performance of assets.
• Quality Assurance:
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement inspection plans and protocols.
• Participate in quality audits and assist in addressing any quality-related issues or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to inspections and quality assurance.
3. Coordinate Third-Party Inspections:
• Collaborate with external third-party inspection agencies to schedule and facilitate inspections.
• Ensure that third-party inspectors have access to relevant documentation, specifications, and test procedures.
• Verify the credentials and certifications of third-party inspectors to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
4. Certification Process:
Manage the certification process by liaising with third-party inspectors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Review inspection reports and certification documents to validate compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Generate and maintain certification records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and compliance documentation.
• Communicate inspection outcomes and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and management.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements based on inspection findings and feedback.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to implement best practices and enhance overall quality and efficiency.
• Training and Support:
• Provide training and guidance to staff members on inspection techniques, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Offer technical support and expertise to resolve inspection-related issues and challenges.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 0 TO 3 YEARS of experience in inspection, .
• Strong knowledge of inspection methods, tools, and standards.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Welding Inspector, Certified Quality Engineer) are a plus.
