Trainee - Logistics (Contract Employee, 3rd Party Payroll) Qualifications and Requirements:
Basic commercial qualification B. Com; M. Com preferred
Fresher or 2-3 years of relevant Logistics work experience
Knowledge of daily dispatch, custom clearance, imports & exports, arrangement of transport vehicles for daily dispatch, transaction negotiation, forwarding agency coordination for safe material deliveries to the end customer
Fresher with commerce background & added courses on Logistics or EXIM policy can also be considered for this position
Detail Job Profile:
Execute daily packing & dispatch schedule
Prepare manual packing list as requested, including spares demarcation for customer identification
Monitor outsourced packing agencies for quality and cost effectiveness
Coordinate with different forwarding agencies for timely dispatches
Maintain records related to inwards and outwards logistics, both physically and in ERP system
Prepare dispatch documents and follow up with forwarding agencies for timely delivery
Monitor packing and logistics costs and support Logistics Manager for MIS reporting
Coordinate with Production & Sales teams for special project requirements related to packing, labeling, packing list, staggered dispatch at multiple sites, etc.
Track logistics damages and implement improvement measures
Manage all customs statutory requirements and clearances for imports from GBN/NCS and exports to Indian subcontinent customers
