Job Description

The Trainee Engineer (Construction On-Site) will assist in various on-site construction activities, providing support to the Site Engineer and Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of basic structural principles, material composition, and strength. They will be responsible for record keeping, communication, and coordination across various departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-Site Support: Assist the Site Engineer in overseeing construction activities on-site. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and specifications. Help resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.

2. Technical Knowledge: Understand and apply basic structural principles, material composition, and strength. Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Assist in conducting site surveys and measurements.

3. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of construction activities, inspections, and tests. Prepare daily reports and logs on project progress and site conditions. Ensure all documentation is organized and accessible.

4. Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with various departments, including engineering, procurement, and project management. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Attend site meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and issues. Participate in safety training and toolbox talks

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of basic structural principles, material composition, and strength.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic engineering software.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Freshers can apply;(1-2 years of experience preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or practical experience in construction or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a construction environment, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry moderate weights, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
