Position: Traffic Executive

Overview: We are seeking a diligent and organized Traffic Executive to join our transport team. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate transportation logistics, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor the scheduling and routing of transport vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Track vehicle movements and report on transportation activities.
• Liaise with drivers and dispatchers to resolve any logistical issues.
• Manage and maintain transportation records, including schedules, vehicle logs, and incident reports.
• Optimize transport routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to meet delivery deadlines.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide updates on shipment status.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a traffic or logistics role within the transportation industry.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using transportation management software and tools.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing tasks.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and handle emergency situations.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and route planning software.
• Experience in fleet management and vehicle maintenance.
