To support the IP operations for the business areas Compressor Technique and Power Technique, Atlas Copco GECIA is looking for an eligible candidate for the profile of Trademark Agent in Pune Location.We are currently looking for a qualified Trademark Agent to strengthen the IP team to help to develop and safeguard our IP portfolio and protect our business. An important mission of the position is to stimulate the identification and development of Intellectual Property (IP) of our Group companies by supporting Trademark cases and IP enforcement cases. We are looking for a confident team-player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, who can effectively manage various Trademark related matters. The Trademark Agent will function as a part of the IP team in Atlas Copco GECIA.Roles and Responsibilities:Support the business in developing and managing the trademark portfolio in line with the divisional IP strategy and internal IP policies, including new TM registration, TM infringement monitoring and TM watches and advice on IP enforcement.International communication with external IP law firms and IP offices, with our internal communication and marketing departments and with the different IP teams within the Atlas Copco Group.Follow-up and coordination of files originating in trademark and domain name watches and brand monitoring activities.Give internal trainings concerning trademarks, domain names, copyright and designs and follow IP law developments in international context.Conducting availability searches and provide internal registrability opinions.Investigate files concerning potential infringement on our trademark rights and assist in setting-up and implementing an action plan in collaboration with internal business stakeholders, the Atlas Copco legal department and external experts.Prepare and send out cease and desist letters, manage takedown actions and liaise with online sales platforms to support our online brand protection.Report back on enforcement matters to the Global Head of IP.To succeed, you will needExperience and Educational requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above is required.
• LLB or Qualified Indian Trademark agent with at least 5 years of experience in an IP law firm or an in-house IP team or a regular law firm.
• Experience/Knowledge of Trademark search and prosecution is must.
• Excellent command on MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of domain name disputes and arbitration procedures of WIPO is added advantage.
• Knowledge of copyright and domain dispute are plus.
