Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide PURPOSE OF THE JOB He/she is the owner of the standard Certification & Authorization (C&A) and Validation Processes for one site He/she is the Commitment Owner of the Certification & Authorization and Validation Work Packages He/she manages CV staff and means at site level (including laboratories) MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Performance Measurement Certification & Validation efficiency & risk coverage Certification & Validation QCD Availability of validation team skills & means Accountable for : Deploying the standard processes and related methodologies and tools in order to ensure Certification and Validation efficiency, Ensuring CV awareness at site level Developing continuous improvement approaches for CV organization, test referential and training Managing CV staff and Validation means at site level: In line with C&A and Validation Central consolidated means, optimizing site Validation means utilization & organization Availability of certification & validation team skills & means Implementing and ensuring application of EHS rules Being the owner of the Certification & Authorization and Validation Processes for one site: During Tender phase: Providing tender Certification & Validation deliverables including schedule and quotation During Project execution: Supporting TVE to meet projects CV QCD commitments Assuring the adequacy and consistency of the projects CV deliverables Responsible for : Allocating resources (staff, tools, ) to execute Certification & Authorization and Validation work-packages Defining the yearly Training objectives Networking with his/her peers of other sites to share workload or competencies, under the control of the Central C&A M tier and Validation Director Validating and compiling the investment requests from the CV team Managing his/her Metier by using regularly updated KPIs to continuously improve the performance of his/her Metier Chairing regular reviews with the CV team on Metier topics (people, process, standardization, architecture, technology) Leading Return on Experience reviews with the CV team to submit process improvements to Central C&A and Validation M tiers or to define some changes in his/her organisation Regularly updating the C&A and Validation costing models with inputs from the CV team to take into account the improvements continuously provided for each Domain of the Generic Validation Plan Managing and sharing the Return on Experience of his/her activities with Central C&A and Validation M tiers Proposing improvements on his/her domain process and tools defined by Central C&A and Validation M tiers Validate and submit the investment requests (CAPEX) MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Educational Requirements Mandatory: Engineering school Master of Science (Engineering, Physical Sciences or others) Desirable: Railway engineering Systems engineering Experience Mandatory: Experience of hands-on activities in several Domain activities on multiple projects (at least 5 years in Railways or Automotive domain or Aerospace domain) Experience in team and project management : 5 to 7 years depending on the team size, multi-metiers or multi-sites team and project Fluent in English Train system knowledge (system analysis, railways) (at least 2 years), Desirable: Mastering of test means Customer and external stakeholders Technical Management Competencies & Skills Knowledge of Standards & Regulation Communication capabilities Required electrical habilitation level, for instance (french definitions) B2V - B2V Essai - BE Essais - BR - BC - H2V Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow\'s mobility.
