About the role

Job Purpose

Technical leader to support the development and rollout of global capabilities to meet the reporting and distribution requirements associated serialisation legislation whilst aligning with global data standards & strategies.

Outline responsibilities

• Technical management, design and implementation of solutions to support the global traceability strategy. Role to include gathering of functional requirements, design, testing, integration and qualification of systems.
• Running of site based workshops to ensure process development aligns with global template and minimises disruption to business teams.
• Ensure compliance with global data standards, processes and specifications and adherence to market legislation.
• Works closely across internal and external functions covering IT, engineering, distribution, GES and 3rd party supply
• Create central documentation to support the deployment of solutions across sites, distribution centers, marketing companies and LSP\xe2\x80\x99s
• Supports system and process troubleshooting across internal and external userbase.
• Leads training activities for end users whilst actively embedding the global business process for traceability.
• Create and handle global traceability documents, specifications and Standards in AZ systems.
• Share standard methodology across the traceability process network and obtain feedback on current solutions and processes to ensure continuous improvement.
• Exhibit leadership qualities to make quick decisive decisions where required.
• Collaborate with global team to drive results and maintain a quality focus.
• Establish & manage ongoing relationships to create a supportive environment.
• Willing to travel internationally to support business needs.

• Supports system and process troubleshooting with site personnel, consultants and IT support.
• Understands and capable to implement full lifecycle management to support Validation of IT solutions

Knowledge and Experience. (Essential)

• >5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience supporting Automation & IT technology, preferably within the Pharmaceutical industry.
• Good understanding of serialisation legislation and associated business processes.
• Experience and knowledge of distribution processes preferably associated to material track and trace.
• Experience of setting up, running and documenting process workshops.
• Working knowledge of corporate IT systems used for data management and warehousing.
• Broad and practical experience of computer and systems validation in a regulated environment.
• Effective communicator with a positive and confident attitude both written and verbally.
• Ability to make the complex simple.
• Experience of working Globally.

Knowledge and Experience. (Desirable)

• Working knowledge of GS1 standards.
• Experience of working with ATTP, ERP, MDM applications
• Experience of working with serialisation at the packing level.
• Networking experience including interfacing between IT systems both manufacturing and corporate.

Education

• Education to Degree level within a relevant field applicable to the role such as Electronics / Automation / process control / Software Engineering
