Job Description


We are an established commodities trading company with a global reach. Our focus is working with companies and producers of all sizes to drive value throughout the supply chain. We pride ourselves on being fast moving and nimble combining trading knowledge with a global logistics infrastructure.

We are looking to expand our trading network, by strengthening existing relationships and forming new ones throughout the world.

- Working from the TORQ Office.

- Develop, manage, and leverage key supplier/buyer relationships

- Manage relationships with exporters and traders price negotiation and vendor management

- Plan and monitor the shipment schedules as per end user requirements

- Identify the supply chain synergy areas to optimize resource productivity.

Responsibilities:

Buying, marketing and selling:

- Responsible for Trading of the target commodities in the target sales region ( mentioned below)

- Have complete control & responsibility for sales planning & execution of the sales planning (example; what grades to be sold, where to sell and how to sell will be planned & executed)

- Logistics & Supply Chain Co-ordination with the internal teams

- Daily contact with clients and suppliers.

- Using and performing market analysis to implement appropriate buying and selling strategy.

Relationship management:

- Must have an existing book of business in the target region.

- Maintaining and developing commercial relationships with suppliers and buyers.

Contract execution:

- Responsible for sound execution of sale and purchase contracts related to the assigned origins and commodities.

- Working within the finance framework: LCs & Documentary Collection

- Understanding Freight, chartering vessels, booking and the cost associated with physical Agri products

- Solid communication with and provide support for back-office and logistics team.

- Close liaison with origin teams.

Skills and Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years\' of relevant experience

- We networked within the commodities world, including exporters, traders and the industry buyers

- Ability to manage existing client accounts and develop relationships with new clients.

- Fluent in English; both verbal and written.

- Hungry to succeed. Go getter attitude.

- Team Player with strong commercial acumen.

- Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent presentation skills

- Keen sense of priorities to meet short deadlines

- Good knowledge of Microsoft, especially Excel (VBA).

Target Sales Regions: India

Target Commodities: Oilseeds - Soybean, Sesame.
