The Nutanix Technical Publications team creates and maintains software and hardware documentation. We work closely with the engineering, product management, and support teams to develop quality technical documentation that delights our customers. This might require research and innovation on integrating the new tools into our current environment to enhance the user experience further.About the TeamAt Nutanix, you\'ll have the opportunity to be part of the Technical Publications team, which consists of 38 dedicated members spread across three locations - San Jose, Durham, and Bangalore. Our work setup is hybrid, allowing for a balanced blend of remote work and in-office collaboration. As a new team member, you will be expected to be in the office two days a week, providing ample opportunities for face-to-face interactions and teamwork.Your Role

• Automate steps in documentation development and publishing processes. Demonstrate the viability of Schematron and content reuse.
• Support API documentation tool.
• Deploy continuous integration for documentation publishing.
• Analyze internal and usage metrics to gain insights.
• Develop transformations to present data as part of the documentation.
• Creation and maintenance of YAML files.

• Intermediate level of Python programming experience
• Intermediate level of Github experience
• Knowledge of server hardware

• Familiarity with structured content such as DITA
• Familiarity with documentation standards
• Familiarity with structured data such as JSON
• Familiarity with transformation languages such as XPath and XSLT
• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
• Knowledge of technical writing and its processes
