As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world's energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.Job Summary:The Tooling Data Governance Specialist is responsible for fulfilment of tools across the region providing support in the areas of inventory, fulfilment, general operations, systems support, order tracking and other administrative activities. Works autonomously, engaging in order entry, management, and tracking of tools utilizing digital platforms for Tooling Management.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop practical and innovative ways to look at an issue and align the data for better strategic decision-making
  • Support the ticketing workflow tool as needed for tooling data initiatives
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of Inventory Data
  • Maintain and optimize SharePoint site as the central repository for tooling-related documents and information
  • Implement and enforce Data Governance policies to maintain the integrity and accuracy of master data
  • Delegate responsibilities and manage work schedules to ensure continuous flow of work
  • Ensure completion of system updates in a timely manner
  • Conduct work that is less defined in scope, utilizing understanding and experience of advanced concepts to manage business objectives that affect short-term and long-term business goals
  • Develop and implement program solutions through big data industrialization to improve operational performance, data quality, or program compliance
  • Participate in Kaizens or other lean action workouts to identify areas of improvement
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity within tooling systems and operations and provide solutions with a lean mindset
  • Manage and maintain the development and testing of new and/or modification in master data
  • Troubleshoot problems related to discipline and tooling operations
  • Train and mentor employees
  • Support FieldCore Leader and Regional Operational Directors for baseline operations
  • Must be able to validate system data and analyze business operations metrics to forecast business impact
  • Identify process improvements and recommend solutions
  • Complete required, annual safety training
  • Travel may be required
  • You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization's core values.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field (engineering preferred)
  • 7+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • 2+ years of practical SAP inventory
  • Experience in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables
  • English proficiency required

  • Proactive and results-oriented, consistently seeking opportunities for improvement
