Job Summary:We are looking for a creative and passionate Mid-Level 2D Animator who is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite to join our dynamic team. As a mid-level animator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D animated videos for a variety of projects, including marketing campaigns, explainer videos, social media content, and more. You will work closely with the creative team to bring ideas to life through animation, utilizing your skills in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create engaging and visually appealing motion graphics.Key Responsibilities:- Create 2D animations for a variety of projects including, but not limited to, social media videos, promotional content, explainer videos, and advertisements.- Collaborate with the creative team (designers, writers, and directors) to understand project requirements and deliver animations that align with the overall vision.- Use Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) to design and animate characters, motion graphics, and other assets.- Maintain a high standard of animation quality while adhering to project deadlines and technical requirements.- Take direction and provide suggestions to improve animations or the overall visual style based on client or internal feedback.- Manage and organize project files effectively to ensure a smooth handoff to other team members.- Continuously learn and experiment with new animation techniques and tools to keep skills up to date.- Participate in brainstorming and creative meetings to provide input on animations, visual effects, and design elements.Requirements:- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a 2D Animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of animation styles and techniques.- Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. - Animation Expertise: Strong understanding of 2D animation principles, including timing, pacing, and character movement.- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to take and incorporate feedback constructively.- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in animation, color, and overall visual design.- Creativity: A strong creative mind with the ability to think outside the box and contribute innovative ideas.- Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with designers, writers, and directors.- Portfolio: A strong, up-to-date portfolio demonstrating animation work and creativity.Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.- Familiarity with basic video editing and compositing workflows.- Understanding of industry trends and best practices in 2D animation.- Experience with character animation and/or storytelling through motion graphics.
