Candidate must be hands on in doing manual and automated tests In-sprint Test Automation experience is preferred Completely own the functional testing responsibility of the module assigned to them Solid understanding of the Quality Engineering Concepts, process framework, adopt industry leading practices in Test Design / Test Case Development / Test Automation / Defect Logging / Retesting the defects / Reporting the testing status Ability to learn fast To be able to work in a fast paced work ambiance Willing to Good oral and written communication skills Understand clients QA/QE processes, deliverables, Service Levels Collaborate with Scrum Teams, E2E Test Teams, and Business to develop, execute the tests, achieve the right coverage Take part in scrum stand up calls to provide the up-to-date status and seek necessary help to deliver the test cases, test execution Take the ownership to get the Test Data and resolve the issues in the Test Environment or Thirdparty integration Be the single point of contact for the application/modules assigned for testing Log the defects on time, support Dev to fix, retest them on time Implement industry leading automation solutions, following clients standards for Test Automation Work with the Scrum Master and Product owners on resolving issues, dependencies Propose ideas to project stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of testing Develop Proof of Concepts (PoC) as required after approval Provide Testing Status and Metrics as requested Must Have: 6+ years experience in Quality Engineering (Manual + Automation), preferrably in the Telecommunication domain Solid understanding of the Quality Engineering principles and practices across the release life cycle Solid hands-on experience with Test Scenario Design, Test Case Development, and Test Execution (manual and automated) SAFe/Agile methodology API Testing, UI Testing, E2E Testing, Test Data Generation Building Test Automation Scripts Experience in CI/CD is preferred Developing test automation scripts using - Selenium/JAVA/Cucumber/TestNG and/or TOSCA and/or Rest-Assured and/or NeoLoad and/or Appium Experience in programming languages - Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML5, CSS3, JSON Demonstrated experience with Jenkins, GitLab or GitHub, DevOps practices, K8s, Docker, AWS/GCP, etc, Good experience in any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) Good experience in Databse Queries Strong analytical & communication skills are required Telco/Billing (AmDocs) experience is highly desired SAP Platform experience is highly desired
