Job Description
FunctionQualityPay BandE4 to M2RoleAs the Plant SQA Category Engineer Engine you will be a part of the Supplier Quality team and will be reporting to the Functional Reporting Plant SQA Group Lead Engine.The Purpose of your role includes Ensuring adherence to quality standards & system of engine category components by evaluation & improvement of the product & process quality at supplier end to ensure overall customer satisfaction.A purpose driven role for youYour key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Ensure inspection of incoming parts as per plan (BOP, Spare parts etc.)
- MIS/Report generation
- Ensure closure of issues/deviations
- Ensure Quality Sustenance & Improve Existing supplier/ components through
- Audits/QAVs and gap closure
- Warranty analysis
- Benchmarking of Best Practices to deploy horizontally
- Ensure Product, Process & System approval and establishment for smooth and trouble free development within stipulated time during New Model development.
- Graduation/Diploma in Engineering
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing, and 2-3 years in an automotive firm
- Product (especially engine) process & systems knowledge (especially machining/casting /forging heat treatment/moulding)
- Quality Planning
