Role

As the TM/LINE INCHARGE-PAINT you will be part of the Plant Operations and will report to theSection Head - Paint Shop. The purpose of your role will be to Painting Process Control and delivering desired on time output with optimum utilization of resources and Continuous improvement in Paint Shop through problem solving Techniques, TPM etc

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

1. Shift wise production planning, man power deployment and getting the desired work done

2. Ensure on time defect free quality product to internal and external customer

3. Process Control, Process Improvement and New development, achieving PQCDMS targets

4. Implement TPM practices in Shop and align with top management initiatives to continuously improve efficiency of the section

5. Keeping Paint Shop Equipment healthy through Preventive Maintenance activities and troubleshooting in case of breakdown

6. To ensure safe, healthy and environment friendly shop floor & fulfilling legal compliances

A Day in the life

Manage factors of production like manpower, production tools & inventory in an optimal manner and follow the laid down SOP\'s of the Paint Shop function.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech in Paint Technology/ Mechanical Engineering.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Knowledge of Painting Process (PT, Electrostatic Spraying etc)

2. Knowledge of Painting Robot, preventive maintenance of paint Shop

3. Knowledge of problem solving tools, TPM

4. Knowledge of Painting defects and counter measures

5. Knowledge of Paint testing, Painted parts testing method
