:Job PurposeThe position holder shall be required to plan and execute all central HR initiatives taken by BCOE (Ultratech) and unit HR head (Cement marketing, RMC & BPD) by engaging with Zonal HR and advise the Business leaders on people related matters. He / She shall be responsible for the execution of the HR agenda in the unit, for ensuring excellence in terms of HR service delivery, and for managing employee experiences. Additionally, the position holder shall be required to drive HR transformation and designing HR processes to support the organization.Job Context & Major ChallengesJob Context :
In view of the recent changes in the BHR structure and in keeping with the One HR Agenda, a significant portion of efforts are being directed towards setting up of centres of expertise, a robust technology and analytics arm, and towards centralization of certain key decentralized processes. The intention is to create a well aligned HR organization that can play the role of business partnering, effectively cater to the needs of the Business and deliver superior employee experience through its various services.
At this juncture, it is imperative to ensure that the HR function is aligned and that the new role and structure is understood both in terms of integration and overall service delivery.Major Challenges :
In the given context the main challenges that the position holder may face is
Managing the transition and ensuring smooth functioning without adversely impacting employee experience.
Manpower Planning and management of manpower cost & Correct Assessment
Execution of BCOE initiatives across Zones seamlessly.
Developing systems & processes for timely and accurate flow of information
Integrate the HR process of Cement marketing and that of RMC & BPDMajor Expectations: * Poornata SPOC for CMO and first level escalation for all issues related to Poornata data / processes

  • Position Creation: Manage position creation requests based on approved budget and manning norms
  • Manpower Budget Monitoring and audit: Keep a tab on all budgeted positions for CMO against actual occupancy and publish monthly reports
  • Movement governance: ensure that movement plan signed off with MD is adhered to, including follow up with zones on the same and monthly report
  • Poornata Data Audit: Ensure poornata data is 100% accurate w.r.t organization structure. Publish updated org charts on a monthly basis
  • Manage Brilliant Basics Scorecard and publish the same by 10th of every month along with analysis of gaps
  • Custodian of Poornata Processes for CMO as well as letter signoffs from HRBP on all movement, confirmation cases. Responsible for mapping poornata processes (blue print / swim lane) and ensuring the SOPs around the same are up to date.
  • Support in PMS and ACR
  • manage merit tool as CMO SPOC, including
i. UAT signoffii. Ensure that data in merit tool is accurate and in line with poornata data including merit and promotion grids etc2.administer AIP independently as part of ACR exercise * Support in Manpower planning and budgeting exercise: manage MP&B for RMC verticalKey Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters)
KRA1 1) Performance management system * Collating and doing 1st level checks of all the Promotion / Upgradation recommendations from Zones, as per ACR guidelines issued by BCOE
  • After checking the recommendations, sharing them with BCOE and timely updating Zones on Promotion / Upgradation recommendation status by sharing the zone wise cut with relevant remark.
  • Centrally validating the AIP data and Bonus of Marketing Vertical and sharing observations to BCOE, also getting the same validated by Zones Bonus and ensuring timely payout
  • Checking ACR letters on Perfomfit
  • Coordinating with zones for aligning Ratings in Poornata and Managing discrepancy related to all the above goals
KRA2 2) Planning & Budgeting (P&B): * Take input from the Zonal HR and review manpower basis manning norms
  • Analyse cost impact and summarize for further approvals.
  • TM1 data preparation for CMD
  • Analysis based on last year budget and Actuals with current year budget.
KRA3 3) Poornata Data Accuracy, Brilliant Basics: * Aligning Depot Region Zone Class Plant against each position in poornata
  • JD upload for all the positions available in Poornata
  • Prepare monthly manpower headcount report and highlight anomalies, if any.
  • Identify position JB mismatch cases, raise ticket to SEAMEX to update the same in Poornata.
KRA4 4) Intervention to strengthen basics of HR * Identify opportunities which are impacting us in streamlining various processes such as merge South A and South B. Provide access to RHRs so that they can access data and plan interventions.
  • Launch of my car portal. Administer my car portal by playing a bridge role between Zone and Group HR
KRA5 5) HR Analytics Design and Publishing of HRMIS dashboard to Business leaders on a periodic basis.
Data Collation from various stake holders and necessary analysis
KRA6 6) Adhoc data requirement Coordinate with the zonal HR for various adhoc data requirement of management
