The Tour Executive will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing tour operations from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent organizational skills, and a strong customer service orientation. This role involves both pre-tour planning and on-the-ground tour management to ensure seamless and memorable experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tour Planning and Coordination:
• Design and develop detailed itineraries based on client preferences and tour themes.
• Liaise with hotels, transportation providers, local tour guides, and other vendors to finalize logistics.
• Ensure all necessary documentation (tickets, travel insurance, visa support, etc.) is provided to clients.
• Assist clients with their travel bookings, handling inquiries, and offering tour recommendations.
• Client Relations:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after the tour.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues promptly.
• Gather feedback from clients and make suggestions for improving future tours.
• Operational Management:
• Manage group dynamics and ensure smooth operations on the ground.
• Oversee transportation schedules, hotel check-ins, activity arrangements, and other logistics during the tour.
• Address any emergency situations or unforeseen challenges that may arise during the tour.
• Financial Management:
• Monitor and manage the tour budget, ensuring all expenses stay within pre-set limits.
• Collect payments from clients, issue receipts, and handle invoicing.
• Marketing and Sales:
• Promote and market tour packages to prospective clients via email, phone, and in-person.
• Assist in developing new tour packages and destination offerings.
Requirements:
• Experience: Previous experience in the travel or hospitality industry is preferred (ideally as a Tour Executive, Travel Consultant, or similar role).
• Education: A degree or certification in tourism, hospitality, business, or a related field is an advantage.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or tour management software.
• Ability to solve problems and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Knowledge of various travel destinations and cultures is a plus.
• Languages: Proficiency in English (additional languages are a bonus).
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel and work on tours, both locally and internationally, as required.
