We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, expert travel advice, and creating personalized travel experiences for our clients. Your in-depth knowledge of destinations, travel trends, and industry practices will be crucial in ensuring our clients have memorable and enjoyable trips.
FYI: Experience in Tourism industry is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Ticketing Process: Handle flight ticket bookings for domestic and international destinations using ticketing systems and online platforms. Ensure accurate data entry, including passenger information, travel dates, and preferences, while adhering to airline policies and procedures.
Fare Calculation: Accurately calculate fares, taxes, and surcharges based on airline regulations, promotional offers, and customer requirements. Provide transparent and detailed pricing information to customers, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
Booking Modifications: Process ticket modifications, including changes in travel dates, passenger names, or cancellations. Coordinate with customers, airlines, and other service providers to facilitate smooth modifications and resolve any related issues.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person interactions. Assist customers with ticket reservations, flight schedules, baggage allowances, and other related queries.
Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on airline regulations, travel restrictions, visa requirements, and industry trends. Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations to facilitate smooth and legal travel for customers.
Coordination: Collaborate with airlines, travel agencies, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to ticketing and customer bookings. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible service for customers.
Requirements:
• knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, attractions, and industry trends.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex travel information in a clear and concise manner.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays, to accommodate client needs.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
