Summarized Purpose :

The Compliance Manager is a professional with expertise in an array of legal compliance regulations, focusing on anti-bribery and corruption laws. This position involves providing advice and mentorship to internal Business Units, interacting with internal and external resources and providing proactive advice to the Director of Compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with Regional and Global function to ensure that in country controls and procedures carry out global framework and to maintain awareness of ABAC risks and threats

- Continuously establishing, updating, improving and implementing compliance-related internal control system and SOPs, ensure Thermo Fisher\'s compliance requirements being carried through the company, the employees, and external business partners, e.g. distributors, dealers and vendors

- Provide support and advice on compliance related matters. Monitor and test behavior of employee and external business partners against company integrity rules and report findings to business leadership.

- Perform risk assessment of 3rd party intermediaries, and develop recommendations to minimize their risk to the business.

- Provide support to management and business units regarding ABAC laws and regulations, identify risk and suggest solutions

- Support management to define and implement improvement strategy and actions regarding revealed compliance issue (supervising result, process gap, investigation result follow up).

- Support different compliance projects. Handle the implementation of compliance programs.

- Communicate compliance rules to employees, external business partners and educate them on how to apply these rules. Ensure all employees are adequately aware and trained on Thermo Fisher business ethics, policies and procedures. Develop and maintain a culture of integrity.

- Ensuring by testing and review in-country ABAC control framework is robust and operating optimally

Qualifications :

- Minimum 8 years of work experience with at least 4 years of relevant work in Compliance with meaningful exposure to Anti-Bribery and Corruption preferably in the pharmaceutical/medical device industries or other healthcare industry.

- Law Degree (LLB). Legal background is preferred.

- Strong analytical ability to efficiently assess data and suggest process improvement recommendations.

- Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs with strong project management skills

- High energy and creative self-starter and optimally within a matrixed environment

- Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in English, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and integrity.

- Self-motivated and capable of working simultaneously on multiple projects and using strong problem-solving skills to deliver quality outcomes
