Job Title: TGT Teacher (Cambridge/CBSE Board)
Job Overview:
The TGT Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality education to students at the secondary level, adhering to either the Cambridge or CBSE curriculum. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student performance, and contributing to a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lesson Planning & Delivery: Develop and deliver lesson plans in accordance with the Cambridge/CBSE curriculum. Ensure lessons are well-structured, engaging, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assessment & Evaluation: Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress. Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve their academic performance.
• Curriculum Implementation: Implement and adapt the Cambridge/CBSE curriculum effectively in the classroom. Stay updated with curriculum changes and incorporate them into lesson planning.
• Classroom Management: Create and maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment. Employ effective classroom management techniques to foster student engagement and respect.
• Student Support: Offer additional academic support and guidance to students as needed. Identify and address individual learning needs, including providing differentiated instruction.
• Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding students' academic progress, behavior, and any concerns. Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings as required.
• Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends and practices.
• Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in and support extracurricular activities related to the subject area, such as clubs, competitions, and events.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance. Prepare reports as needed for school administration and parents.
Qualifications:
• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. A B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• Experience: Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting with the Cambridge or CBSE curriculum is preferred. Experience with curriculum development and assessment is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of the Cambridge/CBSE curriculum and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and resources.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
