• Teaching and Instruction:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that align with the CBSE Social Science curriculum for classes VI to X.
• Use diverse teaching methods and materials to engage students and enhance their understanding of social science concepts.
• Curriculum Development:
• Develop and update lesson plans, unit plans, and teaching resources in accordance with the CBSE syllabus.
• Incorporate current events, case studies, and technology to make lessons relevant and interesting.
• Student Assessment:
• Design, administer, and grade assignments, quizzes, tests, and examinations to evaluate student performance.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and skills in social sciences.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
• Implement and enforce classroom rules and procedures to ensure a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Professional Development:
• Stay updated with the latest developments in social sciences and teaching methodologies.
• Participate in professional development programs, workshops, and seminars.
• Use of Technology:
• Integrate technology into teaching to enhance the learning experience, using tools such as interactive whiteboards, educational software, and online resources.
• Encourage students to use digital tools for research and presentations.
• Student Support:
• Provide additional support to students who are struggling with social science concepts, including remedial classes or one-on-one tutoring.
• Encourage and mentor students who show a strong aptitude for social sciences.
• Extra-Curricular Activities:
• Organize and participate in social science-related extracurricular activities such as history clubs, geography bees, and model United Nations.
