Job Brief: Science Lead Teacher \xe2\x80\x93 Primary & Middle School Location: Chandigarh Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm About Us: At TheWorkshop, we believe that every child has the potential to be a creative problem solver. - M.Sc. / B.Engg / B.Tech
- B.Ed / M.Ed is preferred
- 3+ years Teaching Experience
- Prior STEM / Experiential Learning experience is preferred
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills; ability to present complex information in clear and engaging ways.
- Excellent Academic Record
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PPT, and other basic software tools
- Innovative Instruction: Use a variety of instructional strategies that integrate math and science with engineering, art, and technology innovation.
- Curriculum Development: Design hands-on learning-based lessons that help students understand the ways in which engineers work to design products that meet customer needs.
- Critical Thinking: Provide students with information and activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills, encouraging them to become lifelong learners.
- Lesson Planning: Develop comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials, and maintain classrooms, labs, and facilities conducive to learning.
- Professional Development: Keep current with trends and best practices in education, continuously improving your teaching methods.
- Prepare and maintain daily lesson plans and objectives for each class.
- Provide direct instruction to students and monitor their progress.
- Train and support Assistant teachers.
- Communicate with students, parents, and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Offer guidance and support to students as needed.
- Provide constructive feedback on student performance.
