Our institution values the importance of a strong social science curriculum and is seeking a dedicated TGT/PGT Political Science Teacher to join our esteemed faculty.

Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable TGT/PGT Political Science Teacher to teach students at the secondary and senior secondary levels. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of political theories, government systems, and current affairs, and should be able to inspire students to develop an interest in political science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Political Science for secondary (TGT) and senior secondary (PGT) classes.
• Develop and implement curricula that meet educational standards and are aligned with the school's goals and values.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that challenge students and foster critical thinking.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic success.
• Stay updated with current events and political developments to integrate real-world contexts into teaching.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support student development.
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Valid teaching certification for TGT/PGT levels.
• Proven experience in teaching Political Science at the secondary or senior secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of political science concepts, theories, and current affairs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching and assessment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Ability to incorporate interdisciplinary approaches and contemporary issues into teaching.
• Participation in workshops, seminars, and conferences related to Political Science and education.
