: Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)

Position Title: TGT Science/Mathematics/English Teacher

Reports To: [Principal/Vice Principal/Head of Department]

Job Purpose: To deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and curriculum leadership in the subject area of Science/Mathematics/English, ensuring that all students make progress and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Learning:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Use a variety of teaching methodologies to actively engage students in learning processes.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of students.
• Set high expectations for all students and provide support and guidance where necessary.
• Curriculum Development:
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science/Mathematics/English curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to design and review schemes of work, assessments, and resources.
• Integrate technology appropriately into teaching and learning activities to enhance student engagement and achievement.
• Student Support and Guidance:
• Provide guidance and support to students to ensure their academic progress and personal development.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the school's ethos and policies.
• Professional Development:
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
• Participate in staff meetings, departmental meetings, and school-wide professional development activities.
• Administrative Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports, including student progress reports and examination results.
• Participate in the organization of school events, extracurricular activities, and educational trips as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Subject-specific degree (e.g., B.Sc. for Science, B.A. for English, B.Sc./B.Tech. for Mathematics).
• Relevant teaching experience in the subject area preferred.
• Understanding of current educational trends, methodologies, and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
