Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - Mathematics
School: Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Nauni

Key Responsibilities:

• Subject Teaching:
• Teach Mathematics to students from Classes IXto XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, assignments, and tests to meet learning objectives.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
• Monitor and evaluate the academic progress of students and provide constructive feedback.
• Student Development:
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.
• Provide additional support to students who require help in understanding mathematical concepts.
• Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
• Participate in curriculum development and ensure that lesson plans are aligned with academic goals.
• Use innovative teaching methods, including technology-based tools, to enhance student learning.
• Administrative Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and performance reports.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and other school events.
• Extracurricular Engagement:
• Mentor students in mathematics-related competitions like Olympiads, quizzes, and exhibitions.
• Contribute to the overall development of the school community by participating in co-curricular activities.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (or related field) with B.Ed. from a recognized university.
• Master's degree in Mathematics or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience as a TGT or in a similar role preferred.
• Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching are welcome to apply.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Mathematics concepts and their application.
• Proficiency in classroom management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital teaching aids and modern pedagogical methods.
