Position Title: Trained Graduate Teacher (Hindi)
Reports To: Principal/Head of Department

Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Delivery:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in Hindi in accordance with the school curriculum.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and literature to develop language proficiency.
• Use creative teaching techniques, including storytelling, audio-visual aids, and group activities.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a disciplined, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Encourage active student participation and facilitate meaningful discussions.
• Address individual learning needs and support students with different proficiency levels.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Conduct regular assessments, including quizzes, exams, and assignments, to gauge student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and suggest improvement strategies for students.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and share progress reports with parents and administration.
• Cultural and Language Enrichment:
• Promote an appreciation for Hindi language and literature through poems, plays, and cultural activities.
• Organize events like Hindi Diwas, debates, and competitions to enhance students' engagement.
• Collaboration and Professional Growth:
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate language learning across disciplines.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training programs to stay updated on teaching methodologies.
• Contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Hindi or related field.
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with Hindi as a teaching subject.
• Experience:
• Prior experience teaching Hindi at the middle or secondary school level is preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong command of the Hindi language, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching.
Preferred Attributes:
• Passionate about language education and inspiring students.
• Creative in designing lesson plans and delivering content.
• Ability to build rapport with students and foster a love for the Hindi language.
