The DAV Group - Chennai, functioning under the aegis of Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Society was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over 40,000 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. It has a staff of 1500 plus which includes 1,200 teachers. Four of our branches have been consistently ranked amongst top 15 schools in the country.

In addition to K-12 schooling, DAV has recently ventured into Higher Education with DAV-SMK Fomra College of Arts & Science at Kelambakkam, Chennai.

Apart from schools, the group has journeyed into multiple other areas - teacher training, in-house publications, sports academy, creative arts academy, Vedic Sanskriti School, coaching for various competitive exams and DAV School of Public Policy. In addition, the group offers a whole range of social outreach services in various sectors like health & wellness, natural farming etc.

In this context, we would be interested in recruiting suitable candidates for the position of TGT Hindi Teacher



A Hindi teacher is responsible for providing instruction in the Hindi language, encompassing reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. They develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and create a supportive learning environment. Additionally, Hindi teachers integrate cultural elements into their curriculum to provide students with a holistic understanding of Hindi-speaking cultures.

Qualification

• A bachelor's degree in Hindi language, education, linguistics, or a related field is typically required
• Proficiency in Hindi language is essential. The candidate should have native or near-native fluency in Hindi, including excellent reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
• Previous teaching experience, particularly in teaching Hindi as a second language, is often preferred
• A deep understanding of Hindi-speaking cultures, traditions, and customs is important for effectively integrating cultural elements into language instruction

Salary shall commensurate with experience
