Artifex HR is hiring for an apparel manufacturing company.

We are currently seeking a highly organized and collaborative Design Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating, managing timelines, and working closely with various teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand client briefs and present them to Head Studio Interiors.
• Based on their recommendations, conceptualize the designs independently or with artists as required, then create 'mood boards' to match the design vision.
• Select technique and launch samples in consultation with team
• Prepare and verify all the necessary information to determine the costing
• Source materials and fabrics and update the library on a regular basis
• Handing over the orders to production and in consultation with the team, set a timeline for the completion of the project
• Co-ordinate with external vendors and co-ordinate on-site Installation of the projects as required

Requirements:

• Background in design with a knowledge of or an exposure to hand embroidery;
• Prior design experience with textile/home furnishing companies/design studios.
• Creative, imaginative, artistic, with an eye for detail;
• Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar design software
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Tamil or Hindi would be a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in textile design or related field required.
• Candidate with more than 4-6 years of experience in similar industry and relevant position required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?750,000.00 - ?850,000.00 per year
