Job Title : Textile Designer

Location: Panipat (Haryana)

Qualification: Any Designer Degree

Years of Experience: 2 to 4 years

Salary Package: 3.5 LPA& Negotiable

Required Skills: Creative flair and artistic ability.

A good eye for colour,texture,fabrics and patterns.

Excellent attention to details.

An interest in fashion and textiles,and an under-standing of trends and materials.

Understanding and experience of using different textiles processes and techniques.

Design skills and the abiity tu use computer-aided design(CAD) packages.

Ability to work to deadlines and a budget.

Job Responsibility:1. Producing sketches,designs and and samples for pre-sentation to customers.

2. Making up sets of sample designs.

3. Liaising with clients and technical,marketing and buying staff to plan and develop designs.

4. Accurately interpreting and representing clients ideas.

5. Working out design formulae for a group of samples.

6. Assessing and approving completed items and pro-duction standards.

7. Working independently if self-employed,or liaising closely with colleagues as part of a small team.

8. Using specialist software and computer-aided de-sign(CAD) programs to develop a range of designs.

9. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques and textile technology.
