Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Creation: Develop innovative textile patterns, prints, and fabric compositions for apparel and home textiles.
• Trend Research: Stay updated on global textile trends and consumer preferences to inform designs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product development, production, and marketing teams to align designs with brand goals.
• Technical Specifications: Create detailed design specs for production, including color codes and fabric descriptions.
• Quality Control: Ensure designs meet quality standards and resolve any production issues.
• Documentation: Maintain organized design files, pattern libraries, and presentation materials.

Skill and Qualifications

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools.
• Strong understanding of textile materials, printing techniques, dyeing processes, and fabric production methods.
• Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, fabric construction, and finishing techniques.
• Creativity: Strong visual, artistic, and creative skills with a keen eye for color, pattern, and texture.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot design flaws and provide solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Trend Awareness: Deep understanding of current and upcoming trends in textiles, fashion, and interior design.
