EY-Consulting-WAM-Functional-Testing-Senior
The opportunity As a Business Tester, you will be accountable & responsible to Prepare test strategy, test plan, test scenario, test scripts based on the project requirements. Execute functional and regression test cases. Report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process. Involve in review meetings and walk through meetings. Candidate should have knowledge on Banking/Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Finance domains. Added advantage to have knowledge on Broadridge technology.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience in Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Wealth and Asset Management with hands on experience in CRD (Charles River Development) application, API and Functional automation testing
- Understanding the entire modules and their functionality by verifying the Functional Specification and Style guide issued by the client.
- Designing & Implementing Test Strategy
- Providing Functional Test Estimations
- Able to write and execute the Test Cases for Functional Testing.
- Able to automate end to end functional business workflows
- API automation experience using Rest API/POSTMAN and other market tools
- Must have good knowledge of Java/JavaScript and TypeScript
- Exposure to AZURE dev ops, CI/CD integration
- Experience in Data migration testing, Knowledge on SQL, Relational Database and ETL validations
- Maintaining the Bug Reports and delivery Note details.
- Involved in Peer-Review of the test cases, Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing and User Acceptances Testing.
- Organizing, monitoring defect management process
- Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing
- Involved in review meetings and walk through meetings.
- Attend status calls as needed to report on testing progress
- Review\xe2\x80\x99s data regarding production issues and requests to uncover defects and revises testing strategies as needed.
- Hands on experience on test management tools like JIRA, ADO, ALM
To qualify for the role, you must have
- BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
- 5 -8 years of UAT/Business testing experience in Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Wealth and Asset Management with hands on experience in CRD (Charles River Development) application, API and Functional automation testing.
- Working experience in Agile environment
Ideally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also have
- Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly
- Good experience in API automation, Functional Automation, SQL queries and knowledge on Sybase database application
- Should be ready to do an individual contributor as well as Team Leader role is what we look for
- Created QA Strategy and test approach from scratch, Articulates value, ROI to clients. Experience in conducting proof-of-concepts and Tool selection should have played the role of an individual contributor, interfacing with the clients and address their business needs
