BUK & BX - All locations We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Introduction: You will be part of the leadership team working with peers to ensure best practices are adopted by all teams and developing a delivery strategy to refine and improve the methods in which solutions and services are delivered. You will be Responsible for creating technology solutions to meet business requirements, in line with Cluster and Group IT Strategies and Architectures. Working with the relevant Project Manager, Lead Solutions Designer, or Technology Partner you will be responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with the original solution objectives. Takes responsibility for ensuring that solutions adhere to architectural, quality standards and policies. . Working with the relevant project manager and Lead Solutions Architect, responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with the solution specified. This will be achieved by reviewing project design artefacts and the impact of significant change requests. . Provide hands on software development at a senior level to include design, software development, automated testing and automated deployment . Keeps up-to-date on the wider industry regulations, standards and trends. . Maintain and contributes to current developments in the relevant technical specialism (s) within Technology. . Decision-making and problem solving . Promotion of innovation, quality and exploration of new ideas as a culture Skills that will help you in the role : 1. Hands on 7+ years of experience in automating Web and API (SOAP, REST APIs) . 2. Very good hands-on 7+ years of exp in Core Java, Collections concepts 3. Sound knowledge of associated technologies/tools such as Java, Selenium, Database. 4. Sound knowledge on API automation with any tools available in market like KARATE, REST ASSURED etc 5. Ability to draw upon professional concepts to collaborate with others to carry out assigned duties. 6. Ability to recognize problems related to team\'s objectives / deliveries and to apply creativity / judgment to professional, technical, or operational problems. 7. Ability to coordinate activities of less experienced or less knowledgeable team members. 8. Awareness on CI/CD and DevOps 9. Experience using project and dependency management tools such as Maven, TestNG 10. A natural collaborator keen to learn from others 11. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback at all levels 12. Working in an Agile Environment 13. Reporting of defects and issues, interact closely with DEV & QA team members 14. Collaborate with teams on common approach of Continuous delivery model 15. Ability to implement new test scripts on top of the existing testing framework 16. Participating in agile ceremonies providing story points and estimates for task. 17. Ensure adherence to testing governance, processes & Stakeholder management. Help manage interfaces across the different suppliers on programmes 18. Build efficiency in testing and continuous improvement of methods, techniques and process 19. Review test artefacts like Test Plan/Test Report/Test Scripts What will you be doing . Experience of working within Financial Services . Experience of working with RDBMS development experience (e.g. Oracle) & SQL skills . Experience of using the Git source code control system . Experience to develop software for multiple Operating Systems (e.g. Linux, Windows) . Experience of working within a regulatory driven change environment . Knowledge on UI technologies like HTML, JSP, Java Script, Angular JSAppreciation of Event Driven Architecture & Domain Driven Design . Experience of working on Nexus, Groovy, . Experience of using test automation tools (e.g. Selenium) . Experience of using the Git source code control system .
